PENUMBRA
Created by Luke Augur and Jacob Deakin as part of the GMD alumni residency 2023, at the London College of Communication.
Penumbra is an experimental project driven to explore the relationship between human movement and its connected shadows within a modular performance space.
Through the creation of an interactive performance space, which combines projected visuals, dancers and body tracking. The space is designed to immerse the dancer through an interplay of their individual movement and the distortion of their casted shadows.
